Faultline performs cover songs with something for everybody, ranging from late 1970’s
to current that is mostly Hard Rock but also includes some Hip Hop, Country, and Pop
Rock. We select songs to create a “need to move” atmosphere for our audience. For
some that is dancing, for others that is tapping a foot, bobbing the head, flashing some
skin or singing along.

Our band consists of five members, Amy Jo- lead and backup vocalist; Jason- lead
guitar & vocals; Carol- guitar, keyboards, & vocals; Mike- bass guitar & vocals; and
John- drums & vocals.

Amy Jo has been a music lover all her life. She started by joining the church choir
which only peaked her interest. Later she took vocal lessons and was a teacher for a
while. In 1989, her mom introduced her to karaoke at which time she became addicted.
Then she became a partner with Music Box Entertainment (see Links). So you can either
catch her singing as lead vocalist for Faultline or when singing while doing a Music Box
Entertainment Karaoke show.

Jason is formerly of Backstreet and other bands around the state. He took a few years
off to further his machinist career and get his kids situated but, luckily, his desire to
perform again has kept him in Faultline.  Jason is a versatile and highly competent
guitarist who continues to surprise us with his skill during our performances. In addition,
Jason blesses us with sweet lead and back-up vocals.  Being a shy guy, Jason prefers to
let his guitar do the talking but don't let that stop anyone from saying hello.

Carol, an avid race fan, has been playing piano & guitar for 15 + years, (except when
she is riding her 650 dual sport).  Being a "jack -of -all-trades" Carol fills in as the
songs require-- enthusiastically.  Her multi-faceted personality and talents keep her
from fading into the mix. Previously, Carol has performed in Scepter and Damzel, and
jammed onstage with the guys of "28-IF" and Boom Factory.

Mike, our "go to" guy, knows all the answers to our technical questions. Besides
delivering solid and dynamic bass lines, he's responsible for our sound, maintains our
equipment, and gets our  shows up and running. His true appreciation for music is
apparent in his desire for perfect sound.  Previously, Mike has performed in Millenium,
Scepter and Damzel, and jammed onstage with the guys of "28-IF" & "Affected".

John has been drumming for over 20 years.  He grew up in north Minneapolis, lived in
Florida for a while but then moved back to Alexandria.  In Alex, he and some friends
formed such bands as “Lazy Boys”, “Forsaken” and “Epitaph”, playing material ranging
from blues-rock to heavy metal to alternative.  He has taken time off from drumming a
few times to do such things as get married, have a couple of kids and get a good job.
His recent decision to resume drumming has come after regaining his passion for music
following a critical car accident that left one of his good friends permanently injured.
John does data networking for schools and businesses and also installs flooring.  He loves
music, fishing, motorcycling, pool playing, and singing karaoke.  Watch for his smooth
drumming style, steady beat and obvious love of music.
Hey ladies, he is single!

Faultline was "officially" formed in 1996. Playing throughout central MN at various
venues we have built a firm energetic following.  We continue the legacy now as each
member contributes vocal harmonies, experienced musicianship and personal commitment.
We welcome any and all who wish to join us at our shows. Stop any one of the members
and say "HEY".  Egotistical attitudes are not a part of our mix.
